The Digi-TUCi can be used for both the existing terminal box retrofits and new construction. The Terminal Box Controller makes the operators’ and designers’ jobs easier. Minimum airflow specifications and calibration are no longer needed. The Digi-TUCi makes your facility 20% to 40% greener since it reduces your cooling, heating, and fan power 20% to 40% more compared to existing VAV terminal box applications. Digi-FHC Fume Hood Controller The Digi-FHC Fume Hood Controller varies the air volume exhausted through the hood depending on the hood sash position (option 1) or sidewall airflow rate to maintain a constant face velocity. It also controls make-up and exhaust airflow valves to achieve the lowest airflow rate necessary to maintain room temperature, minimum ventilation rates, and proper pressurization. You also have the choices to select fume hood face velocity control, room pressure control, or both. The controller eliminates excess face velocity that can generate turbulence leading to an undesired release of contaminated air. It also reduces energy costs by decreasing the airflow when the sash is not fully open. The controller displays the average airflow (FPM) of the fume hood and provides a visual and audible alarm when there is a hood malfunction or insufficient face velocity. A mute button is provided to silence the alarm. |

Digi-SCS SmartHood® Controller and Retrofit Kit for kitchen exhaust fans The Digi-SCS SmartHood® Control System can identify whether the kitchen hood is in use or not by monitoring the hood temperature, smoke or steam concentration. When the kitchen hood is in use, the controller modulates the exhaust fan VFD speed and make-up airflow to meet the cooking demand and ensure building comfort. During the idle/non-cooking mode, the exhaust fan is operated at minimum speed. Temperature sensors and VFD installation are required. The Digi-SCS can be used for both retrofitting existing systems and new systems. The SmartHood Controller ensures proper ventilation based on actual need. It prevents the excessive negative building pressure when the make-up air unit is “accidentally turned off”. It ensures the kitchen thermal comfort by eliminating excessive cold make-up air in winter and humid, hot air in summer. Digi-SSC and Digi-CMS Multiple Stack Systems The multiple stack system consists of the Digi-SSC (Stack System Controller) and Digi-CMS (Customized Multi-Stack). The Digi-SSC sequences the stack operation and modulates the exhaust fan speed to ensure the stack exit velocity is at required level s and correct static pressure set points in the exhaust duct.
